2011 Coachella tickets are go! That’s right, and with the recent announcement of the 2011 Coachella lineup, it looks like being one of the best Coachellas of recent years! Among the headliners at this year’s festival are Arcade Fire, Kanye West and Kings of Leon. Any one of these three is worth the price of a Coachella ticket alone, but when you add PJ Harvey, the Chemical Brothers and rapper Nas, you know that the 2011 Coachella lineup is a winner. The music and arts festival in Indio, California has been earning a reputation as the one festival to be at in recent years, with a dazzling array of the hippest acts, and this year is one of the best ever.
The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, to give Coachella its full name, is now in its 12th year, and growing in recognition as the first major rock festival on the annual calendar and a barometer for what is to follow once summer gets underway. The 2011 Coachella schedule will play from April 15 to 17, always a perfect time in Southern California. Expect to see other hip bands like Animal Collective, the Strokes, the Black Keys and the New Pornographers, all giving their all for what is usually a celebrity crowd laced with hipsters, hippies, general cool folks and tons of music industry insiders.
