You’ve got your keffiyeh’s dangling from your neck, your neon Wayfarers, your skinny jeans, flannels and forehead bands…but are you ready for the heat that Coachella brings? Coachella tickets may grant you access to the best music festival on the planet, but if you aren’t prepared you’ll be in for a miserable experience, so stock up fellow urchins and birds!


Being from the Northeast, I forget to leave my flannels at home, so after stepping off of a plane, stripping off extra layers and bee lining it to the Empire Polo field, the last thing I need is extra baggage. For all those who are willing to endure the heat (see- Bonnaroo fans) Coachella has a tight setup right next to the main venue for campers. I, on the other hand , get myself a cheap room down the road every year (the key is to reserve a hotel room as early as you buy your Coachella tickets – they fill up quickly!).
